WindEnergy Hamburg 2026

22 September 2026 – 25 September 2026 · Messeplatz 1 Hamburg, Hamburg

Date: 22–25 September 2026
Venue: Hamburg Messe und Congress, Hamburg, Germany
Event Topic: Wind energy, energy storage, onshore and offshore wind technologies

WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 will bring together leading companies, decision-makers, investors and technology providers from the international wind energy sector in Hamburg. The fair, which focuses on the entire wind energy value chain, will showcase new technologies, innovative products and solutions supporting the energy transition.

With the sector’s leading players present across all halls, WindEnergy Hamburg will give participants the opportunity to follow developments in the global wind energy market closely, make new business connections and explore collaboration opportunities for international projects.

Solutions driving the energy transition

Energy storage technologies play a critical role in integrating renewable energy sources into the energy system safely and efficiently. WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 will put developments in this field in the spotlight with the Energy Storage Area, being held for the first time.

In the Energy Storage Area in Hall A2, manufacturers, suppliers and system providers will present next-generation energy storage technologies, battery solutions and system integration applications. This new section will offer international sector professionals important opportunities for knowledge sharing, technology transfer and new commercial connections.

The meeting point for onshore and offshore wind energy

Demand for onshore wind power plants continues to grow globally. At the same time, extreme climatic conditions, low-wind-speed regions and increasingly stringent technical regulations are increasing the need for project-specific turbine and system solutions.

Alongside new-generation onshore wind turbines developed for different site conditions, the sector is also concentrating on repowering, which involves renewing existing plants with more efficient technologies. WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 will be one of the key platforms showcasing these technologies, which support sustainable growth and efficiency in energy generation.

Offshore wind energy, meanwhile, offers significant investment opportunities worldwide, especially in Europe. The success of offshore wind projects depends on effectively combining wind energy technologies with the engineering, logistics, financing and operational capabilities of the maritime sector.

By bringing the different needs of the onshore and offshore wind energy fields together under one roof, WindEnergy Hamburg will create a comprehensive business network for investors, manufacturers, suppliers, engineering companies and project developers.

Recruiting Days will shape the sector’s future

As part of WindEnergy Hamburg, Hall B3 will be dedicated to the future experts of the wind energy sector on 24–25 September 2026. The Recruiting Area, to be held as part of Recruiting Days, will bring together students, recent graduates, experienced professionals, companies and sector organisations.

Participants will be able to explore career opportunities in the wind energy sector and communicate directly with potential employers. Supported by a dedicated stage programme, company presentations and a job board area, the event will provide an important career and networking platform in a sector where the need for a skilled workforce is growing rapidly.

More than a trade fair

In addition to its exhibition areas, WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 will give exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to develop their sector knowledge and strengthen their professional connections through a comprehensive events programme.

The programme, consisting of expert forums, conferences, workshops and technical presentations, will address the wind energy sector’s current issues, new technologies, investment models, energy policies and global market developments.

WindEnergy Asia-Pacific 2027

WindEnergy Hamburg’s global events network also extends to the Asia-Pacific wind energy market. WindEnergy Asia-Pacific will be held on 25–27 May 2027 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention & Exhibition Centre in Singapore.

Focusing on onshore and offshore wind energy, the event will bring investment opportunities, market trends and policy developments in the region to sector professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to make new business connections with energy companies, investors, financial institutions, technology providers and public sector representatives.
