PURPOSE
The main purpose of the congress is to contribute to the development of the Hydraulics and Pneumatics disciplines.
The aims of this congress are:
◆ To enable scientific and technological developments in the use and application areas of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems to be presented and discussed,
◆ To be a common platform for the companies making up the Hydraulics and Pneumatics sector, sector associations, academics, professional chambers, and the engineers and technical staff working in this field,
◆ To identify what needs to be done regarding education, research and legislation in the field of Hydraulics and Pneumatics, and to share existing developments with engineers and technical staff working in the field of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
It is hoped that the papers presented at the congress will serve as a reference for practising engineers and technical staff. With its scientific programme, exhibition and social events, the Hydraulics and Pneumatics Congress will be the knowledge and sharing platform of the Hydraulics and Pneumatics sector. We invite all technical staff – first and foremost the engineers working in the field of Hydraulics and Pneumatics – as well as academics, companies and sector associations to contribute to and support this common platform.
This event is organised on behalf of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers under the management of its İzmir and Istanbul Branches.

Papers accepted for presentation following peer review will be published in the Congress Proceedings Book. In addition, papers deemed suitable by the editorial board from among these will be published in the MMO journal Mühendis ve Makina.
