The New Dimension of Manufacturing: Expo3D Istanbul 2026
Date: 17–19 September 2026
Venue: Istanbul Expo Center, Yeşilköy – Istanbul
Event Topic: Additive manufacturing, 3D printing, design and advanced manufacturing technologies
Manufacturing processes are undergoing a fundamental transformation worldwide. Additive manufacturing technologies are reshaping the traditional approach to production in many sectors, from design to engineering, from automotive to aviation, and from healthcare to the defence industry.
Aiming to be one of Türkiye’s key meeting points for this transformation, Expo3D Istanbul 2026 will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center on 17–19 September 2026. The fair will bring together additive manufacturing systems, 3D printers, advanced manufacturing materials, software solutions, design technologies, quality control applications and auxiliary processing systems under one roof.
The meeting point of the additive manufacturing sector
Additive manufacturing makes it possible to turn designs prepared digitally into physical products by joining material layer by layer. This method enables the creation of geometries that are difficult to produce with traditional manufacturing technologies, shortens prototype development times and allows personalised products to be manufactured economically.
As 3D printing technologies become more widespread, businesses are moving to faster, more flexible and more resource-efficient production models. Expo3D Istanbul 2026 will bring together the technology providers, manufacturers, engineers, designers, academics, entrepreneurs and investors driving this transformation.
Aiming to take advantage of Türkiye’s strategic location between Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the fair will offer participants the opportunity to reach new markets, develop international collaborations and communicate directly with decision-makers in the advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
Which technologies will be exhibited at Expo3D Istanbul?
At Expo3D Istanbul 2026, various 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies for processing plastics, metals, composites and biomaterials will be presented. Systems and applications for manufacturing methods such as FDM, SLA, SLS, DLP, MJF, PolyJet, DMLS, EBM, SLM, DED and Binder Jetting will be exhibited at the fair.
The event’s product and technology scope will include the following areas:
- Industrial and desktop 3D printers
- Metal and polymer additive manufacturing systems

3D printing solutions for different sectors
Expo3D Istanbul will present visitors with examples of how additive manufacturing technologies are used in different sectors. Rapid production of critical parts and spare components in the defence industry, development of lightweight, high-performance parts in automotive and aviation, and preparation of patient-specific prostheses and anatomical models in healthcare will be among the fair’s standout application areas.
The event will also present new solutions for areas such as 3D printing in construction, personalised footwear and insole production, furniture design, marine vessels, jewellery, bioengineering and tissue engineering.
Covering processes ranging from prototyping to end-product manufacturing, the fair will host applications showing that 3D printing is not merely a rapid prototyping tool but has become a direct manufacturing technology.
5th International 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Conference
As part of Expo3D Istanbul 2026, the 5th International 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Conference will be held with the contribution of Yıldız Technical University.
At the conference, academics, engineers and sector representatives will assess technological developments in additive manufacturing, new materials, AI-assisted manufacturing processes and industrial applications. In this way, the commercial interaction on the exhibition floor will be supported by the sharing of scientific and technical knowledge.
Who should visit Expo3D Istanbul?
Expo3D Istanbul 2026 will provide an important technology platform for production and operations managers, R&D specialists, engineers, product designers, architects, CAD/CAM specialists, purchasing managers, and mould and tool makers.
The fair will also offer new collaboration opportunities for universities, research centres, start-ups, investors, public bodies, defence industry representatives and professionals interested in digital manufacturing technologies.
According to figures shared by the organiser, the event is planned to bring together 100 exhibitors, more than 250 brands and over 15,000 visitors across a 6,000-square-metre exhibition area.
